East, North East win in Scotiabank U-15 cricket

THE Scotiabank NextGen Under-15 50-over Development Programme 2022 bowled off on Friday with matches throughout the country.

At St Mary’s Ground in St Clair, East defeated North by seven wickets with Renaldo Fournellier hitting 30 for East. North were dismissed for 71 in 24.5 overs, before East scored 75/3 in 17.4 overs.

In another match in Tobago, North East got past Tobago by five wickets.

Tobago were dismissed for 132 in 22.1 overs, before North East responded with 133/5 in 31.5 overs.

SUMMARISED SCORES:

NORTH 71 (24.5 overs) – Varisht Ramdeen 17, Yasir Deen 3/7 vs EAST 75/3 (17.4 overs) – Renaldo Fournellier 30 not out, V Ramdeen 2/15. East won by seven wickets.

TOBAGO 132 (22.1 overs) – Jedidah Mohammed 35, Derrell McLetchie 20; Zakilon Beckles 5/22, Joshua Alfred 2/32 vs North East 133/5 (31.5 overs) – Israel Gonzales 34 not out, Ashmir Singh 33; Sameer Khan 3/34. North East won by five wickets.
