Recording artiste and actor E-Dee will release his album Elevate on April 8.

The album, his first full-length project since 2007, will be released on the Unseen Lab Recordings label. E-Dee will be in Jamaica this summer promoting Elevate as well as filming a music video for his latest release, titled Steppin.

“I had to come back home to Jamaica to start the promotion of my album because this is where it all began,” said E-Dee. His itinerary while in Jamaica will include television and radio appearances, as well as live events.

Elevate features collaborations from notable greats like Wayne Wonder, Glen Washington, Fambo and I-Octane, with a selection of dancehall singles that will be released leading up to the launch, as well as unreleased material. The album will be produced by his long-time collaborator, Grammy Award-winning producer Qmillion.

E-Dee is currently in Los Angeles to finish filming the movie Temperature Rising, with Paula Parker, De’Aundre Bonds and Omar Gooding. It is scheduled for release later this year.
