The decision to venture into music production was one that Damian Gordon could not avoid as he has actively been surrounded by music most of his life.
The St Catherine native, who now resides in Canada, made the decision to form his own label last year and has since then dedicated his time towards ensuring he has all the proper tools in place. Operating under the brand DrayDen Productions, the young producer believes that he is ready to deliver one-of-a-kind music.
“I have always had a passion for music and the effects of the pandemic made me realise it was time to put some energy behind making my dream a reality. I spent a lot of time with producers like Sean Woodhouse, True Loyal and in recent times YoungBoss, all of whom helped mould my beliefs and help me set the foundation for my brand. I plan on bringing forth new ideas to the industry,” he said.
Gordon shares that he and YoungBoss Production will be releasing his first production by recording artiste INoah this month.
“Having a good support system is vital in any venture and I appreciate the time my musical family invests in my interests. YoungBoss has helped me a lot since I launched my label and that’s why I decided to partner with him for my first release. This single will be released with an official video to boost the reach of the track as a part of the promotional scheme we have in place,”said Gordon.
While he sets his plan in motion for his debut, he added that he also has collaborations in the pipeline with artistes such as Intence, Sativa and Mulko Burna.
